Our accommodation is open all year round, inviting visitors to explore the nearby sights - whether you are fascinated by going on a hike in the intact nature, following the National Blue Trail, or wish to spend your day fishing by the lake, try horse-back riding or simply looking for a pleasant recreation in the Gyémánt Spa of Tatabánya.

Szárliget is situated in Komárom-Esztergom County, near the M1 highway, main road 1 and the Budapest-Hegyeshalom railway, right by the foot of the Vértes and Gerecse mountains. The village lies approximately 4 kms (~ 2,5 miles) from the Felsőgalla quarter of Tatabánya and 10 kms (~ 6 miles) from the city centre. The Budapest-Hegyeshalom railway lines divides Szárliget into two parts. The following towns are easy to approach by both train and bus: Tatabánya, Tata, Bicske and Budapest.

The track of the National Blue Trail passes through the village. The path is indicated with blue stripes from Írott-kő through Budapest all the way to Hollóháza. The trail is 1128 kms (~ 700 miles) long and the popular movement is tended by the Hungarian NatureFriends Association.

The house is also open for seasonal workers, who do their job locally or nearby. We offer quality accommodation for groups of 6-10 (max. 18) people at affordable prices.

The house has two apartments with separate entrances, suitable to accommodate 6-8 guests. Extra beds are available. Both apartments have two bedrooms, a private bathroom (shower, bathtub), toilets, well-equipped rooms, LED television with USB-support, a dining room, a lounge and a fully-equipped kitchen, garden furniture on the terrace, free WIFI, a gym and a parking lot in the closed yard.
