Dog friendly places - Kállay Collection

Kállay Collection is located at Bessenyei Square in the downtown of Nyíregyháza. It can be reached easily both by car and by bus. The park outside the building is popular among dog walkers. Parking is free for visitors and the next bus stop is only 90 meters far from the entrance.

The Kállay Collection not only keeps the memory of an ancient Hungarian noble family, but also a part of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county's and Hungary's history. 

The collection has a library of 13.000 bands and historical photos. It contains personal items of Kállay descendantes, Prime Minister Miklós Kállay's (1887-1967) correspondance, Ferenc Ilosvay's (1914-1990) hunter and writer's manuscripts and Baron of Altorja Gábor Apor's (1889-1969) collection of orders.
