WWF Hungary is a nature conservation organization working on conserving our unique natural treasures locally.

WWF is the world’s largest conservation organization. Its mission is to stop the degradation of our planet’s natural environment, and build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature. WWF Hungary – an independent organization but a part of International WWF – has been working on conserving our unique natural treasures locally since 1991. Its activities cover four main areas: protecting our rivers and wetlands, preserving natural forests, combating climate change and protecting our indigenous predators.
